YOUTH IN OUR TENNIS COMMUNITY
 OCT. 25,2017
Billy Crawford
This past weekend I had the honor of joining four other educators who were chosen as Distinguished Educators by Northwestern State University’s College of Education and Human Development.
At the assembly, each honoree was asked to make a short talk to those in attendance. Listening to each, a resounding theme became very apparent:  Their successes in life are the direct results of positive support and encouragement by family members, friends, ministers, teachers and coaches during their formative years.
We are all aware that the youth of our state need all the positive support and encourage we can give them. For the past six years, through the Good News for Tennis Fans newsletter, I have enjoyed sharing your tennis programs’ successes.

Thank you for continuing to support our youth–our future. Can we do more? I believe we can.
Please keep sending your youth news and photos!
