City Park Tennis Club Summer Tennis Tournament
The City Park Tennis Club held it’s annual Summer Mixed Doubles Tournament at City Park this past Saturday, August 26th.
It was our largest event ever with 52 players playing on 13 courts.  The teams ranged from 8.5 to 6.5 combined ratings and many were preparing for their USTA State tournaments.  A social was held in the club house afterwards with music, spirits, food and fun.  Their next tournament will be held in late October with details to be announced soon at

A Message from Lee Isaacson, Club President

Congratulations and appreciation to tournament director, Tony Paternostro,
who really knows how to make a fun tournament work.

Also many thanks to our gourmet chef Donna Paternostro, who once again added
the piece de resistance with a gourmet lunch for all, including pulled pork
sandwiches, coleslaw, shrimp pasta, and salad.  Did I mention homemade

Thanks to all who played and enjoyed their day with the spirit of having fun
and getting to play some competitive tennis at the same time.

Finally, congratulations to all our new members. We hope you enjoy being a
part of the club!
